Bhanu Garg is an MS student at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of California, San Diego. He is currently working on the On-Demand Virtual Physical Therapy project. His interests span across verticals in machine learning and AI.
He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-Kanpur) with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, after which he worked with the credit risk-decision science team of American Express for a while. Then, he moved to the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-Hyderabad) as a Research Associate at the ML Lab. He has had the fortune of interning with ShareChat - a TikTok-like app for Indian regional languages for the semi-rural population, and most recently at Matician - a level 5 autonomous floor cleaning robot company.
